Information MyVoyageBoard May Store
When you use MyVoyageBoard, you may choose to provide information needed to use the service, including your username, email address, voyage and itinerary information, cruise reservations, flight, hotel, parking and transportation details, excursions and daily plans, loyalty or benefit information, uploaded travel documents, application preferences, and cruise planning notes.
For financial planning, MyVoyageBoard may store cruise amounts, balances, payment dates, onboard credit and benefit details that you enter or import. MyVoyageBoard is not intended to collect your credit-card number, bank-account number or payment password.
Technical and Account Information
To operate the service, we may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser or device type, operating system, user agent, login and session timestamps, timezone, and basic security information. We use session cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and protect your account.
Your Travel Documents
MyVoyageBoard may allow you to upload reservation confirmations and other travel documents so information can be imported, organized and displayed within your voyage. Documents may contain names, reservation details, travel plans, cabin information, prices and other information shown on the document. Documents and information extracted from them are used to provide the requested MyVoyageBoard functionality. We do not sell information contained in your documents or use it for advertising or marketing.
You should avoid uploading documents containing information that is not necessary for planning or managing your voyage.
How We Use Your Information
Your information may be used to operate MyVoyageBoard, save and synchronize your voyages, provide voyage-planning features, process information you ask MyVoyageBoard to import, generate voyage documents and summaries, maintain security, troubleshoot problems, support bug reports, and improve the reliability of the service. We do not build advertising profiles from your information.
Notifications and Email
If you enable web notifications, we store the browser push subscription information needed to deliver them, along with your selected reminder settings, timezone and basic device or browser information. Web push notifications are delivered through browser push infrastructure. The iOS app's local reminders are scheduled on your device and do not send your voyage data to Apple or MyVoyageBoard for delivery.
If you enable account emails, we may use your email address to send password-reset messages, monthly balance summaries, pre-voyage planning messages and other service-related communications you request. These are not advertising messages.
Sharing Your Voyage
MyVoyageBoard may provide features that let you create a read-only voyage or profile share link. A shared snapshot can include the voyage information you choose to share, including itinerary, travel, planning and financial details saved in that voyage. Anyone who has the link may be able to view the shared information, so only share with people you trust.
Share links may have an expiration date and can be revoked from the account. A copy that someone has already downloaded or saved may not be recoverable by MyVoyageBoard.
Bug Reports and Support
If you submit a bug report, we may store the report description, contact information you provide, page or device details, user agent, theme or viewport information, and an optional screenshot. Bug reports and screenshots are used to investigate and improve MyVoyageBoard and may be reviewed by the MyVoyageBoard support team. Do not include passwords, payment credentials or unrelated personal information in a report.
We Do Not Sell Your Data
MyVoyageBoard does not sell, rent, trade or license your personal information to advertisers, data brokers or marketing companies. Your data is your data.
Service Providers
MyVoyageBoard may rely on hosting, storage, email delivery, browser push, infrastructure and other technical service providers necessary to operate the service. These providers may process information only as needed to deliver the requested feature, maintain security or provide support. They are not authorized to use MyVoyageBoard information for their independent advertising or marketing purposes. Depending on the provider and your location, information may be processed in another country.
Security
We use account authentication, password hashing, access controls and encrypted connections where supported to help protect information stored by MyVoyageBoard. However, no website, application, server or Internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users are responsible for keeping their MyVoyageBoard account credentials and shared links secure.
Retention and Account Deletion
We retain account and voyage information while it is needed to provide your account and features. You can download a backup, correct information, delete documents and request account deletion. Account deletion removes the primary account record and associated voyage, wallet, preference, notification and uploaded-document data that the deletion process can identify.
Retention can vary for security records, email-delivery records, bug reports, backups, legal obligations and information contained in a share that has already been created. Public share snapshots may remain available until they expire or are revoked, and a copy already downloaded by another person cannot be removed by MyVoyageBoard. If you need help removing information, email privacy@myvoyageboard.com.
Your Choices and Privacy Requests
You may request access to the personal information associated with your account, correction of inaccurate information, export through the backup tools, deletion of your account or data, and help revoking a share. You can change email preferences and browser or iOS notification permissions at any time. Send privacy requests to privacy@myvoyageboard.com. We may need to verify your account before completing a request.
Children's Privacy
MyVoyageBoard is a travel-planning service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact privacy@myvoyageboard.com.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as MyVoyageBoard evolves. When material changes are made, the effective date at the top of this policy will be updated.
